Comedian Kevin McDonald Practises What He Preaches at The Improv Centre (Aug. 24 & 25)

Comedian Kevin McDonald, best known as a member of the iconic Canadian troupe Kids in the Hall, is performing at The Improv Centre on Saturday night. In addition to the evening show, Unhinged with Kevin McDonald, the veteran comic will also lead two ticketed workshops at the theatre over the weekend. On Saturday night, he’ll kick off with a stand-up set, followed by improvisational skits with The Improv Centre ensemble after intermission. During his Saturday workshop, McDonald will focus on developing comedy sketches from improv scenes, while Sunday’s session will teach participants how to create sketches from one-line premises. Both workshops, open to participants 18 and older, run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
