Friends of the Vancouver Public Library Hosting Fall Book Sale (Sept. 5 – 8)

Friends of the Vancouver Public Library are holding their annual Fall Used Book Sale Sept. 5 to 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Alice MacKay room in the Lower Level of Central Library (350 W. Georgia St.). Used books, CDs, and DVDs from the collection will be on sale with softcover prices set at $2 and hardcovers at $3. The Friends of the Vancouver Public Library are a community of library lovers who volunteer, fundraise, and advocate in support of the library. Since 1995, Friends of the VPL has supported a wide range of initiatives, including the Writer in Residence program, Ink magazine, Writing and Book Camp, digital and literacy resources for children and teens, and the revitalization of library spaces, along with the purchase of new equipment and furniture.
