BC Celebrates Culture Days with Special Events (Sept. 20 – Oct. 13)

Dozens of BC artists and cultural organizations are participating in Culture Days, from Sept. 20 to Oct. 13. Canada’s 15th annual celebration of arts, culture and heritage is a tour-de-force exploration of cultural voices – a national roll call of who’s out there. Some of the BC highlights include a behind-the-scenes tour of North Vancouver’s Hendry Hall theatre on Sept. 28, musician Cory Weeds’ Jazz Jam at Burnaby’s Shadbolt Studio Theatre on Oct. 1, Making Shadow Puppets workshops at New Westminster’s Anvil Centre on Oct. 5 and 6, and a Coastal City Ballet Open House on Oct. 10.
