Sons of Vancouver Hosting Halloween Pop-Up Bar (until Oct. 31)

North Vancouver’s Sons of Vancouver Distillery is turning its tasting room into a haunted pop-up bar during the weeks leading up to Halloween. Their Dark Manor Inn borrows the name and pays tribute to Fraser Street’s now-departed haunted house lounge. Special seasonal concoctions include Blood Bags (serves 2 – 4) filled with either Human Blood (SOV Vodka Vodka Vodka, Campari, juice blend) or Monster Blood (SOV Melon Liqueur, mezcal, overproof rum, juice blend, yellow chartreuse, night terrors). Another option is the Pumpkin Pie Sour (pumpkin pie amaretto, rye, lemon, bitters, egg white). Wearing a tiki shirt gets a 10% discount on tropical potions you can sip all night long. No reservations – first come, first served at 1431 Crown St., North Vancouver. Hours are Tuesdays to Fridays, 5 to 10 p.m., Saturdays, 1 to 10 p.m., and Sundays, 5 to 9 p.m. Sundays include a Surf’s Up menu.
