DreadWorks Haunted House at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds promises an “immersive Halloween nightmare attraction combining live dark fantasy theatre with an hour of captivating, spine-chilling experiences.” The production, created by film industry professionals, Somnara Studios and Constellate Films, is a next-level Halloween experience. Entering the environment, participants choose to wear multi-coloured scare bands to indicate just how much they want to be involved in the experience – Green includes full-contact maximum scare with DreadWorks live theatre actors, Yellow means no physical contact, Red keeps you at a safe distance from the action as a spectator.

The minimum age to enter is 10 years old, and an adult must accompany those under 18. Pricing varies by night, with tickets available in the General, Fast Pass, Immediate Pass, and Flex Pass categories, with the advisory to arrive 30-60 minutes before your designated time slot. There is limited parking, which is discounted if you purchase online. The chaos is unleashed on opening night, Sept. 27, and runs through Nov. 3, Wednesdays through Sundays. In addition to the immersive cinematic haunted house experience, the event features food trucks, roaming actors, and live performances.
