Dumpling Teams Competing in Richmond Taste Test (March 2)

The Asian Arts & Culture Society is hosting a Dumpling Tasting Soirée on Saturday night in Richmond at the BCIT Aerospace Building. The event, featuring MC Kevin Lim, will sample dumplings from a variety of Asian cultures and includes food vendors, alcohol pairings, a tasting competition, live entertainment, and an auction with partial proceeds going to the Richmond Hospital Foundation.

Among the local dumpling makers participating in the culinary competition are Teppan Yaro, Banh Mi Tres Bon, That Momo Spot, K-Ipse, Ah Nui, Momo Joy, Mr. Siopao De Langley, and Jiaozi. The event also serves as a precursor to the Third Annual BC Dumpling Festival, set for Coquitlam’s Town Centre Park on Aug. 10.
