Vancouver Streets Come Alive with Mural Festival Magic (Aug. 7 – 11)

Since 2016, the Vancouver Mural Festival has been the creative source behind over 400 murals around the city. This year the work of more than 40 visual artists will be showcased during the four-day, all-ages street party. New public art has been commissioned for Downtown, Gastown, Hastings Sunrise, Mount Pleasant, New Westminster, Olympic Village, Renfrew, River District, and Strathcona spaces. On the weekend a VMF x Make Good Party Market takes place Aug. 10 and 11 from 2 to 10 p.m. at 2111 Main St. For more information about the artist lineup, VMF mural tours and the live events calendar visit vanmuralfest.ca.
