East Meets West in Music Without Borders Fest at The Cultch

The Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra hosts four days of world music fusion in the Global Soundscapes Festival at The Cultch from June 6 to 9. Inspired collaborations of classical and contemporary world music from Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Canada will be performed with a mix of local musicians and international guest ensembles. Acts performing at the fest include Montreal trio Mativetsky, Amiri & Pagé (tabla, santur & harp), Taiwan’s Little Giant Chinese Chamber Orchestra, Vancouver’s Zeellia (Slavic soul music), Borderland (Indian and Persian traditional instruments), the BC Chinese Music Ensemble, and the Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra.
