The Vancouver All-British Field Meet Classic Car Show takes place on Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the Great Lawn of VanDusen Botanical Garden. The organizers are anticipating that as many as 500 cars and motorcycles in 62 classes will be on display during the event, which will also feature live entertainment, food trucks, and vendor booths. Traditionally, classic car manufacturers are singled-out during the day, and this year, the Vancouver ABFM is honouring Triumph as the 2024 Featured Marque with more than 80 Triumph cars and motorcycles on hand to help celebrate the company’s centenary (101 years to be exact). Other featured marques will focus on modified classic cars and the 60th birthday of the high-performance V8 Sunbeam Tiger. The next day, some of the vehicles in the show will participate in a Harrison Run featuring two routes, a barbecue luncheon, entertainment, and prizes. Go to the Western Driver website for more information and registration.
