Meet the Maker: Design Legend Paul Brodie Displaying Mountain Bike Collection (June 15 & 16)

One-of-a-kind, hand-built creations by Vancouver mountain bike designer Paul Brodie will be featured in a special two-day show this weekend at August Studios + Sincerely Studio, 1320 East Pender Street. Brodie built his first steel bicycle frame in 1984 and was a key player in the design of the first modern mountain bike designs. In 2005, he was inducted into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame. Doors open at 11 a.m. both days, with Brodie leading guided tours of the custom bike collection at 1 p.m. Saturday, there will be a meet and greet session at 6 p.m. followed by an opening party at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 for weekend access.
