New West Cultural Crawl Celebrates Community Arts Scene (Oct. 2 – 6)

The 21st New West Cultural Crawl will feature a celebration of two local institutions — vocal ensemble Quayside Voices (above) and Braid Street Studios — both celebrating 10 years of creativity. Visual art from Crawl artists will be paired with live performances, creating a unique fusion of music and art. Artist studios and local venues will welcome visitors for the 21st New West Cultural Crawl, a community celebration featuring both daytime and after-dark activities. The main Crawl takes place on the weekend of Oct. 5 and 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with additional evening events planned from Oct. 2 to 5. The festivities begin with an opening reception at The Gallery at Queen’s Park in New Westminster on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 6:30 p.m., showcasing many of the artists participating in the Crawl.
