Mackin House Explores Roots of K-Pop in Live Broadcast (Sept. 28)

DJs Gu Choi and Minji Kim, along with MC Ajin Yoo, will host a live broadcast from Coquitlam’s Mackin House on Sept. 28 as part of the museum’s ongoing exhibit, Roots of K-Pop. The KTV Media Production will explore the evolution of the Korean music scene from its earliest days. This BC Culture Days event will feature a live radio broadcast on Fairchild Radio 96.1 FM at 11 a.m., with refreshments and snacks provided. If you plan on attending, RSVP on the Coquitlam Heritage website. The night before, DJ Sophia Seo will also be broadcasting a live one-hour show at 10 p.m. on Co-Op Radio 100.5 FM as part of the Roots of K-Pop exhibition.
