Host of The Nateland Podcast, the comedian has appeared numerous times on Conan and Jimmy Fallon and, earlier this year, sold out his show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Tickets for the Lower Bowl show at Rogers range from $70.50 to $171.10.

Koko Monk Chocolates Unveiling Special Flavor Profiles for Festival

For each week of this year’s Hot Chocolate Festival, Vancouver’s Koko Monk Chocolates has created several special concoctions that will only be available for a limited time. From Jan. 25 to Feb. 3, their 2883 West Broadway location is unveiling “The Magician,” a vegan drink featuring walnut butter oat milk dark hot chocolate with an optional touch of bourbon. At the same time, the 1849 West 1st location is presenting the “Red Sparrow,” featuring red shiso and strawberry white hot chocolate with cinnamon. This year, the month-long festival is featuring over 160 hot chocolate drinks specially prepared at 105 locations around Greater Vancouver. The festival runs until Feb. 14 (Valentine’s Day).

Hidden Gem Travel: Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico

Ancient and modern cultures merge in the Mexican “Pueblo Magico” (Magic Town) of Loreto. Founded in 1697 by Jesuit missionaries, Loreto was the first colonial settlement on the Baja Peninsula. Four hours north of La Paz on the east coast of Baja, the surrounding area is nestled in the Sierra de la Giganta mountain range and looks out over the Sea of Cortez. There is much to do in this world-class beach destination, with its mix of authentic local culture, Spanish colonial history, and unspoiled desert and marine ecosystems. Descendants of goats brought over by conquistadors still munch on the hillsides. Dubbed the “Aquarium of the World” by Jacques Cousteau, the Sea of Cortez has incredibly diverse marine life, and much of it is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The all-inclusive resort, Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto by Danzante Bay, has an 18-hole golf course designed by Rees Jones. TPC Danzante Bay was named the World Golf Awards’ Best Golf Course in Latin America (2019) and Mexico (2021). American, Alaskan, and WestJet airlines all operate seasonally to Loreto International Airport.
