Eliza Rose – “Lovesome“

East London DJ/vocalist Eliza Rose will perform on the outdoor Radius Stage at the PNE Centre Grounds on Sunday, May 19, as part of the May long weekend’s Foundation V10.0 house music festival. Born and raised in Hackney, London, the UK garage musician name-checks artists like Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse in interviews, and you can hear their influences in her own material. It’s fantastic stuff, mixing retro neo-soul and jazz with UKG Afro-Futurism. “Lovesome” is a collaboration with Peaky Beats and comes from her new Business As Usual EP, also featuring the title track (with MJ Cole) and “Lost Your Love” (with Kylin Tyce).
