Johnny Cash’s Life and Music Take Centre Stage in Arts Club Production (June 20 – Aug. 11)

The Arts Club Theatre is staging Ring of Fire: The Life of Johnny Cash with an ensemble cast that keeps music as a priority in telling the story of the Man in Black. The Granville Island Stage production covers a lot of musical territory with six actor/musicians performing everything from his early 78 rpm Sun recordings, like “Hey Porter” through iconic songs such as “I Walk the Line.” Ring of Fire opens Thursday, June 20, and runs through Aug. 11.
