Vancouver’s Little Italy Celebrates Big Day in Style

Vancouver’s Little Italy, celebrates its historic neighbourhood with Italian Day on the Drive, Sunday, June 9 from noon to 8 p.m. Hundreds of thousands of celebrants are expected all along “one of the coolest streets in the world” for the all-day cultural street festival. This year’s theme is “Storia” honouring the history, culture and contributions of the Italian-Canadian community. In 2016 the City of Vancouver designated eight blocks of Commercial Drive as the centre of Vancouver’s historic ‘Little Italy’ – on June 9 the tight-knit community celebrates 80 years on The Drive.
