Over 100 teams are competing in the Vessi dragon boat races at False Creek on June 1 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. One of B.C.’s largest dragon boat races, the Vessi 500 Championship expects over 3,000 paddlers to participate in races that take place every 15 minutes and serve as a warm-up for the Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival set for June 21-23.
