Carnaval del Sol Lights Up Vancouver with Latin Flair (July 5 – 7)

Carnaval del Sol celebrates the richness of Latin American culture with a three-day festival in Jonathan Rogers Park, July 5 to 7. The opening night party on Friday, July 5 starts at 5:30 p.m. and features DJ Gambeat y La Grooving Familia. Tickets $30 (advance) and $37.17 at the door. Carnaval del Sol’s own brew, Cerveza Carnaval Second Edition, will be available in the beer garden. International performers, including Chesca (Saturday, 9 p.m.), La Linea (Saturday, 7:45 p.m.), and Brazil’s Kirà Chao (Sunday, 9 p.m.), will be performing on the Main Plaza. One-day and two-day passes are available online.
