Ladner’s Paterson Park is set to roll out a full weekend of rock music at the Barnside Harvest Festival with a massive lineup that also includes artists drawing from country, blues, hip-hop, jazz, and bluegrass. Headlining the music fest are The Glorious Sons (Friday), Sam Roberts Band (Saturday), and Loverboy (Sunday), with each band closing out their respective nights. Alternative Rock, Hard Rock, Roots Rock, Southern Rock, Psychedelic, New Wave – whatever your pleasure – fans of all genres can look forward to performances from bands such as Sloan, The Trews, and Craig Northey’s Odds. The Odds are based in Vancouver but this will be a rare chance to see them play a hometown gig. Among the other acts hitting the stage are Boston’s soulful Couch on Friday and Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters on Saturday.

Hosted by Barnside Brewing Co., the festival also features a Charity BBQ supporting the Tsawwassen Boundary Bay Lions Club, along with food trucks, an artisan market, and the Delta Heritage Pavilion celebrating the area’s farming history. Sunday brings a family-friendly touch with the Southlands Paw Pals Picnic, welcoming dogs on-site until 5 p.m. Weekend passes and single-day tickets for the festival are available online. Kids under 10 get in free with an adult.
