North Van Musician Hits Career High Note with Dua Lipa Collaboration

North Vancouver musician Tobias Jesso Jr. played a big role in shaping Dua Lipa’s new album, Radical Optimism, contributing as a co-writer on six songs, including the latest single, “Illusion.” Known for his collaborations with stars like Adele, Harry Styles, FKA Twigs, and King Princess, Jesso’s writing credits on Radical Optimism also include “End of an Era,” “Houdini,” “Training Season,” “French Exit,” and “Happy For You.” Dua Lipa chose to perform “Illusion” and “Happy For You” when she guest-hosted on Saturday Night Live recently.
