Vancouver International Jazz Fest Kicks Off with Stellar Lineup of Shows (June 21 – 30)

The 39th Vancouver International Jazz Festival begins Friday night with a full slate of performances featuring local and international artists. This year, over 150 performances are scheduled, including more than 50 free events from June 21 to 30. The Downtown Jazz series offers free concerts outside the Vancouver Art Gallery at šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square on June 22 and 23. Throughout the festival, Granville Island hosts free and ticketed shows at Performance Works, Ocean Artworks, and the Revue Stage. Other performances will take place at downtown clubs and North Shore venues. Tickets are available at coastaljazz.ca.
